The sloping shank softens and slows the action of the bit making it an ideal choice for adding control without intimidation. The dogbone lies comfortably across the horse’s tongue while the twist helps re-sensitize horses that have learned to lean against the bit. This bit can be used with either a leather or chain curb, and is designed for timed event or trail horses for soft feel and control.
